Why... where will you go when it is time? What will you do? 

You talk of heaven and life after death., but you do not know. Like me you must simply wait. You can only go on each day in the trust that it all means something and there is some point to it all.

I will not endure life. I refuse to wait for heaven, that unlikely, unimaginable hope. I will live my life now. I will act for what is good now, not for the earning of some future .reward. Life is to be lived now.

If there is some heaven at the end then you will be pleased, but me...? I will have lived, my friend. I will have lived!
