Jesse said, "I don't believe all this life after death stuff with angels and green fields. I think its like being asleep."

She was honest, and wise, knowing why she believed what she said.

"You see, all my life, I've had to help people and do things. It's always been 'Jesse will do it.' I just want to stop."

Sometimes I resent that life is so short. I resent the outrage that just to be alive means knowing my life is not mine and will be taken away.

But sometimes I am like Jesse. Life is too hard. I wish I could go to sleep.
